" A list with a more sophisticated append() function. It checks for the existence an object with the same name overwrites it, if there is one. Will become a dictionary soon :-)

append(self, element)

We check for an element within the list with the same name as the new element to be added an overwrite the old element, if one is found. Otherwise we just add the new element.
Parameters:
element - the element has to be added to the list.
           (type=any type that has an attribute name)
Returns:
None
           (type=NoneType)
